Grand Farm is excited to welcome Claire McDonald to the team! Claire is joining us as our Field Operations Intern. She is assisting with the planning, preparation, and execution of field trials that test emerging agricultural technologies. Her work helps create the real-world conditions needed to evaluate innovations for the future of farming.

Tell us a little bit about you!
“I grew up in Leonard, ND. I went to Elementary through High school in Kindred, ND. My whole family went to college at NDSU, plus it’s close to home so I am going there as well! In my free time I like to be with friends, play video games, and draw.”
What college did you attend? What was your major?
“NDSU: Precision Agriculture and Technology Management”
What’s one activity that energizes you?
“Sleeping and/or being with my cat Lucio.”
If you could take a 30 day, all expense paid vacation, where or how would you spend your time?
“I would like to go to Japan and sneak my cousin in my suitcase so he can come with.”
Do you have a favorite book or movie?

“Any DC/Marvel media.”

“I can catch flies with my hands!”
What’s your favorite part about living in the FM area? What’s your favorite hidden gem that Fargo has to offer?
“I grew up with no neighbors nearby and no stores close, so I like how close Fargo is in terms of buildings and communities. The best part of Fargo in my opinion is Teaberry in Downtown Fargo.
Why are you excited to work for Grand Farm?
“I am excited to work for Grand Farm because I have never worked for any company/business who wasn’t a part of my family.”
