Description: David Vinson, Program Manager at Grand Farm, replacing the cassette on the Scanit Technologies' SporeCam. The SporeCam continuously captures airborne fungal spores on a proprietary cassette, analyzes each particle using onboard optics, and securely sends the data to the cloud for rapid disease detection and monitoring.

Description: The Acclima Node is a solar-powered telemetry device that collects SDI-12 sensor data and transmits it wirelessly via LoRaWAN. Here is Prabhat assigning addresses and verifying Tx/Rx via terminal commands to the sensors connected to this node.

Description: Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU) and UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences hosted academic leaders from institutions throughout the United States this past weekend.
One of the last stops was UGA Grand Farm in Perry, GA. Kaytlyn Cobb, Lenín Rodríguez, and Anthony (Tony) N. Llano got to share about their work bringing the partners and site to life.
Special thanks to Drs. Lauren Lazaro and Nicholas Basinger for their immense support of the USDA National Proving Grounds Network on the site. They have been a big help as we've launched the weed challenges of this year.

Description: There’s a lot of activity at the CHS field trial in the distance this morning. It’s the final day that they are using the plots to train agronomists on the effects of adding adjuvants to herbicides. Nothing beats seeing the effects first hand in the field.

Description: Olivia Heilman, Grand Farm's Field Operations Intern, collected crop samples for Crop Diagnostix as part of ongoing field trials. The samples will support testing of Crop Diagnostix's gene expression analysis technology, which aims to detect crop deficiencies before visible symptoms appear, helping growers make proactive, data-driven decisions while reducing unnecessary inputs.

Description: Intern Zach is taking stand counts of cereal hemp in New West Genetics’ trial. Emergence stand counts are a critical measure of crop establishment to evaluate seed performance and treatment impacts. Accurate stand counts provide the foundation for interpreting season-long outcomes and yield results.
