Grand Farm is excited to welcome Olivia Heilman to the team! Olivia is joining us as our Field Operations Intern. She supports daily field activities that help bring agricultural research and technology trials to life. Additionally, she prepares plots to assist with field operations, playing a hands-on role in advancing agricultural innovation.

Tell us a little bit about you!

“I grew up in Fargo with my mom, dad, two sisters and two cats! I am a collegiate runner and love to workout. I love to read and also garden.”

What college did you attend? What was your major?

“I attend the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse and major in Plant and Fungal Sciences.”

What’s one activity that energizes you?

“I love to take care of my plants.”

If you could take a 30 day, all expense paid vacation, where or how would you spend your time?

“I would travel to Greece and Italy to look at all the old mythological sites!

Tell us one random fact about yourself!

“I have over 50 houseplants that travel back and forth with me to college!”

What’s your favorite part about living in the FM area? What’s your favorite hidden gem that Fargo has to offer?

“I love the community here, it is so welcoming and everyone is so caring. A hidden gem I love is moonrise cafe, they make all their own syrups and the staff is wonderful!”
