Grand Farm is building a global destination for agriculture innovation, positioning North Dakota as the capital for agricultural technology and innovation.
Phase II of the Grand Farm Innovation Campus is a response to growing momentum from across the agricultural ecosystem. As more partners seek space to collaborate, test, and build solutions, Phase II advances the campus into a purpose-built environment that supports deeper engagement and greater impact.
Designed in collaboration with growers, corporations, startups, community leaders, and educators, this next phase ensures the Innovation Campus can continue to evolve alongside the challenges and opportunities facing agriculture.
Grand Farm partnered with Confluence and a broad coalition of partners to create the Innovation Campus Master Plan: a roadmap for growth that will shape the campus into a world-class destination for collaboration, immersive engagement, and real-world testing of agricultural technologies.
Launched in 2022, Phase 1 established the foundation of the Innovation Campus through a 140-acre land acquisition near Casselton, ND and the construction of the 25,000 sq. ft. Innovation Shop. This phase was enabled by strong public–private partnership, including $15.3 million in support from the State of North Dakota and over 50 families and organizations.
With this foundation in place, Grand Farm activated the site as a collaborative hub. The Innovation Shop has hosted research, demonstrations, and hundreds of stakeholder engagements, unlocking $235 million in federal funding tied to Grand Farm initiatives and attracting anchor industry partners to North Dakota.
Grand Farm’s Innovation Campus is rooted in collaboration, and Phase II continues that vision. If you believe in advancing agriculture through innovation and want to be part of this next chapter, we invite you to get involved. Your support helps create the space, connections, and momentum needed to solve real challenges in agriculture.
